Once upon a time in a small Punjabi village named Bhootpura, there lived a brave and adventurous young man named Bittu. Bhootpura was known for its rich history of ghostly legends and eerie tales that sent shivers down people's spines.
One dark and stormy night, Bittu was returning home after attending a wedding in a neighboring village. The wind howled and rain poured heavily, making it difficult to see through the darkness. As he walked through a dense forest, he heard whispers in the wind, and eerie shadows danced around him. Ignoring the warnings, Bittu continued on his path, determined to reach home.
Suddenly, a spectral figure emerged from the mist, wearing a white turban and flowing robes. It was the legendary ghost of a mischievous tailor named Kukkad Singh, who had died years ago under mysterious circumstances. Known for his love for fashion, Kukkad Singh had a reputation for stitching clothes so well that they seemed to come to life.
As Kukkad Singh approached Bittu, he exclaimed, "Stop, young man! You are trespassing into my haunted territory. No one can pass through this forest without paying a terrible price."
Bittu, showing no fear, replied with a smirk, "Ah, Kukkad Singh, I've heard stories of your ghostly pranks. But don't worry, I'm not here to disturb your fashion show. I just want to get back home safe and sound."
Kukkad Singh was taken aback by Bittu's audacity. No one had ever spoken to him in such a manner before. Intrigued, he decided to test Bittu's bravery and wit. He challenged him to a fashion contest, asking him to design and stitch the most exquisite outfit overnight. If Bittu succeeded, he would be free to go.

"By the spirits of fashion!" Kukkad Singh exclaimed. "You have surpassed all expectations. Your skills are truly remarkable, young man. I can see why you have no fear."
Grinning, Bittu replied, "Thank you, Kukkad Singh. But remember, bravery and wit can conquer even the most haunted of territories. Now, if you don't mind, I'll be on my way."
Kukkad Singh, impressed by Bittu's talent and courage, stepped aside and allowed him to pass through the forest unharmed. From that day on, the tale of Bittu's encounter with Kukkad Singh spread throughout the village of Bhootpura, inspiring others to face their fears with a smile and a needle in hand.
